UBC Student Health Service can provide antigen therapy for students, a prescribed course of antigen injections for allergies diagnosed by an allergist. Antigen therapy is a preventive treatment for allergic reactions that can help your immune system build up a tolerance for a certain allergen. The treatment involves taking gradually increasing doses of the substance you’re allergic to.
Upcoming student system change
Starting May 21, UBC will transition from the Student Service Centre (SSC) to a new platform called Workday. You’ll receive an email to set up your account on May 21.
If you’re in 2024 Summer Session classes, you will continue to use the SSC to register for summer courses and pay your tuition. For Winter Term courses starting in September 2024, you'll need to use Workday to register.
